Le Raspberry Pi obtient XBMC en version 12.1

L’équipe derrière le développement de XBMC pour le Raspberry Pi a mis en ligne dernièrement la mise à jour 12.1 du célèbre media center. Cette nouvelle version d’XBMC Frodo propose de nombreux correctifs et améliorations. 

On note la présence d’une meilleure visibilité AirPlay pour les appareils fonctionnant sous Mac OS et iOS 6 ainsi qu’une amélioration des performances sous OMXPlayer.

Voici les autres améliorations apportées par Xbmc 12.1 :

- Audio popping via analogue is finally fixed
- Pulse Eight’s libCEC library is upgraded to bring improvements to bring improved compatibility and bug fixes
- Fix a bug where disabling the firewall may not be working.
- Reduce stuttering when playing internet streams.
- Added additional DVB firmware.
- Fix for a security vulnerability that could allow users on the same network segment to gain control of the Raspberry Pi.
- Fix for some issues with apt-get
- Improved libRTMP library compatibility for playback of Internet streams.
